On December 5th, 2024, Bertrand Pavageau from Syensqo gave a lecture on “Materials for Green H2” for the students of the Chemical Engineering School in Bordeaux (Ensmac).
During the talk, an important question was examined: Will the aircraft of the future fly on green hydrogen? This challenge is at the forefront of the aeronautics industry. Bertrand shared insights into his work at Syensqo, where the focus is on innovative material solutions across the entire green hydrogen value chain—production, transport, storage, and conversion.
As a proud partner in the European BRAVA project, Syensqo is committed to overcoming scientific and technological barriers to develop a complete power generation system based on proton exchange membrane fuel cells. Additionally, the company is collaborating with Bertrand Piccard on Climate Impulse, the first zero-emission aircraft, set to embark on its round-the-world trip in 2028!
